Vise Restoration

I enjoy restoring quality classic vises like Athol, Wilton, Parker, and more. I've had some questions about offering this service so I'm making this available.

Typical service includes:

-Disassembly

-Strip using media blasting, mechanical removal through sanding or wire wheeling, or acid dipping

-Clean all fasteners

-Repair extreme damage through weld buildup

-Drill and press in bronze bushing to main shaft

-Replace handle and ends

-Make new aluminum soft jaws

-Prime and paint. Powdercoating available as an extra.
